Hallowe'en Highlights!

We had a super disco, well organised by FOBS and with fantastic help from parents . Thank you to everyone who made it such a success.

The costumes were amazing, from staff and children! Mr Wellings was the best DJ ever! He got everyone buzzing, and did some good work featuring songs from the upcoming concert - well done Mr Wellings!

Keep your eyes open, ready for the next event. We have another disco before Christmas.  

Cavan, Dylan, Ethan and Tom had a brilliant idea. They planned and organised a sale at the Hallowe'en disco.  Because of their hard work they raised £40.10.

Here's what the Blue Cross charity said:
'Thank you very much for showing your support with a donation of £ 40.10. We’ll put it to work helping sick, injured and homeless pets as soon as we can.
It’s wonderful to know that people like you care so much about animals because without your support we simply wouldn’t be able to do our lifesaving work.
Last year we helped more than 35,000 poorly and unwanted dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and other small pets. Our vision is that every pet will enjoy a healthy life in a happy home – thanks to you, we are now a step closer to achieving this.'

6-a-side Football Competition

On Wednesday 7th October, two excited teams set off from school, in school kit complete with warm hoodies (it was cold), and travelled to Chapel High School for the football competition.  In a tournament against other local schools, they all played brilliantly, with vocal encouragement from Mrs Rackstraw and excellent tactical tips from Miss Brew. The boys came a very respectable 4th in their group, and the girls came first in their group.

The girls go to the area finals in Glossop on Monday 12th October
