  • White Hall trip

    Tue 24 May 2016
Class 3 and 4 had a fantastic trip to White Hall today. They showed ingenuity when tackling the problem solving activities, skill in orienteering, courage on the zips wire, strength on the climbing wall and agility on the ropes course. In addition to all that, they had lots of fun AND the weather was fantastic. A super day out.
  • Race for Life

    Sun 22 May 2016
Race for Life success.  Well done everyone who ran 5k to raise money for Cancer Research UK.  We were very pleased at the turn out - 23 from Buxworth!  And many bringing cake for afterwards. Lovely.  We arrived in good time - early enough to find five pupils from Buxworth School training with Stockport Harriers at the athletics track in Woodbank Park.   Please ask Miss Crombleholme, Freddie, Will, Grace, Louis or Oliver if you'd like to find out more.  Click here if you're interested in running at Woodbank Park at other times.

  • Midsummer Night's Dream

    Thu 19 May 2016
Into the woods!  Shakespeare would have approved of the performance in the woods by Class 4.  Great script (thank you Mrs Butcher); super costumes; patient and tolerant audience.  It rained.
  • Class 1 Superhero Assembly

    Wed 18 May 2016

An amazing array of home-grown superheroes arrived in time for the Class 1 assembly.  The children looked wonderful and spoke clearly.  There was a BIG difference between this assembly and when they did the last one - clear, confident loud voices and good acting.  The children were quick to help each other when needed without being bossy.

There weren't enough chairs put out for all the parents and grandparents who'd come to watch.  THANK YOU all for coming to see the children's work.  This included a 'Great Fire of London' drama which was excellent.

  • Take One Picture
