The Child Is The Expert art event 2023
Organised by teachers from our PEGS Art hub, four Year 4 children joined other schools to teach and learn art skills. There was a fantastic range of art on display, including Buxworth’s Van Gogh inspired ‘tint and shade’ activity.
Buxworth Cabinet Art Project
Year 4 children have been given a great opportunity over the last two terms - to have their artwork used as the inspiration for a local art project. Using our very own river as inspiration, we have sketched riverside wildlife. These sketches are being converted into a display by local artist, Anne Humberstone, to brighten up the village and celebrate its young artists. Each Year 4 child who contributed will receive a certificate.
