    Our OFSTED Inspector contacted us at 11:40 a.m. on the Monday and arrived on Tuesday morning at 8.  It was a long and tiring day for everyone, and we were glad when it ended.  Thank you to the children, staff, parents and Governors who helped us throughout the day.  Good work.  Results will be confirmed within three weeks.  Copies of the report will be distributed.  If you don't get one and you'd like one, please let us know.

    This was held at Chapel High School. We did well!  We came first.  Well done, everyone.  Thank you to Miss Heath for training the children last term.

    The Daily Mile is alive and well at Buxworth and provided opportunities for our youngest and oldest children to run together one morning this week - lovely!

    The Y5/Y6 team enjoyed the very exciting atmosphere at New Mills Leisure Centre to come 5th in the small school's section of the mini-basketball tournament hosted and brilliantly organised by New Mills High School.
