This week the children had lots of fun and learning based around our story of the week The Three Little Pigs. They acted out the story and played it; they used wooden blocks, bricks and straw to see if they could make houses. They collaged materials to create pig pictures; they developed their hand muscles cutting out lots of pig and wolf masks which they used to play the story and they did size ordering with pictures from the book.
Alongside this they engaged in lots of counting and ordering of numbers, started recognising their own name and writing it to sign in in the morning and most importantly they did lots of fantastic playing. They all worked together on so many games, jobs and challenges. They were brilliant.
