Reading in class

NEW BOOKS! We have lots of lovely new books in our school library (a lot more than in this picture!) that go up to level 4 for Accelerated Reader. Have a look through and see if you can find something you fancy!

Reading in Class

In Sycamore Class, we love to read! Throughout the day, we read for up to 30 minutes and have lots of opportunities to read in different ways.

 

We read independently, we read to an adult, we read in groups during guided reading and read books interactively on Bug Club. We are excited by our follow up quizzes on accelerated reader and love a good 'Book Wars' on a Friday afternoon.

Our class text this term is, Roman Diary: The Journal of Iliona a young slave.
