Area Cyclo-cross Winners
On a fine Tuesday afternoon, the cyclo-cross team arrived in good time to compete in the area finals. After a warm-up, the girls raced to victory, making the going look easy. In the relay, they never lost first place from beginning to end, with Charlotte crossing the finish line well ahead of the other teams. The boys had a much harder race, with Will working hard to pull back from 3rd place, and managing it in an exciting final sprint where he managed to get his front wheel over the finish line an inch ahead of his competitior, taking 2nd place. This secured the overall win for the team. They are now preparing for the County Finals in June.
