What a wonderful first week the children had learning about our splendid skies. They already knew lots of interesting things and were so excited about our topic.
We started off by learning facts about the planets in our galaxy.and writing them on super space paper to go on our display. They also worked really well together to create a superb galaxy backdrop to go behind our role play rocket. Well done Little Conkers.
In other learning we to put numbers in order and show we were able to recognise, show and understand the value of numbers 7, 8 and 12. In phonics we learnt the phonemes w,x and y and we did lots of reading to improve our comprehension.
In P.E they started to learn how to move along, over and across different apparatus.
