We had a superb week doing lots of lovely learning. In Phonics we learned the digraphs oo, ar and or.In Maths we were learning to compare weights to see which was heavier or lighter; we moved on to using lever arch balances and then onto weighing using cubes. On Thursday we used scales and grams to measure out ingredients to make star biscuits.
In Topic we were learning about stars and our closest star the sun. The children made some amazing art work of the sun and wrote fantastic sentences to show what they had learnt. their work is displayed in the bottom corridor of the school near the entrance door. Please pop your head in the door to look.
Well done Little Conkers; you are all doing so much learning and making fantstic progress.
