We all had a super week with lots of lovely learning. We learnt the sounds oa, ai, igh and ee in phonics and learnt to measure using cubes in Maths.
In our topic work we were learning about aliens and enjoyed some wonderful alien stories including Alien's Love Underpants, The Super Smelly Alien and Here Come The Aliens. The children enjoyed lots of alien activities including making aliens out of junk modelling, pictures, matching pairs games, painting and more. They also learnt about light and dark and spent time exploring the dark box to see what they could see inside without light and then when light was added.
