28.2.22

This week the children learnt about snails and slugs. They enjoyed finding out interesting facts and they did  some wonderful about what they had found out. We went on a hunt to see if we could find any snails or slygs. We found lots of slugs but were disappointed at how few snails we found.

On Monday we are going to collect leaves, sticks and some rocks to put in our tank to make a snail habitat so when we find some we can bring them in to class to watch them. We are also going to make some snail soup so we can keep feed them too.

We learnt about the French artist Henri Matisse and we used his collage style of art work to make pctures of snails. They are super.

In Maths we have done lots of learning about numberbonds to 10 and we are really starting to understand and learn them. Great job Little Conkers.

On World Book Day we dressed up and everyone looked marvellous. We enjoyed drawing pictures and writing about our favourite books.
