A great first week back with lots of wonderful learning.
This week the children spent time working on numberbonds to 10. They spent time using cubes and counters to work ouyt how to split 10 in to 2 parts and then they moved on to working in more abstract ways. They loved picking a number to 10 and then finding their numberbond partner. They were all superb at it.
We planted cress seeds and learnt what a plant needs to grow. We are going to keep observing and frecording our seeds to make a seed diary next week.
At the end of the week they had a superb time on World Book Day. they couldn't wait to get on the carpet and start reading and sharing their favourite books as soon as they came in. They all enjoyed lots of World Book day activities through out the day.
