Reading

Blending and reading for the first time. Very well done.

 

The Little Conkers class love to read. We have Reading time every day after lunch where the children enjoy reading either on their own or sharing a story with their friends. 

 

We enjoy a class story atleast once a day when the children are read to.

 

Every day and in every story we find new words that we don't know and they become our words to the day. We ALWAYS stop to talk about what the words mean and how we could use them in a sentence. 

Our words on Friday were Briskly, glum and serious.   We write our new words on the Wonderful Word Wall and refer to them often.
