What have we been doing in class?

Week 5 

This week, we have started to prepare for our Easter service. Take a look at our fantastic springtime bonnets. 

Week 4

This week, we investigated the invention of the Mackintosh. We chose different methods of waterproofing paper then turned the paper into origami boats. We tested how effective our waterproofing methods were and found that the aluminium foil, poly pockets and wax crayons to be the most effective.  

A visit from Little Conkers

Today, we had a visit from Little Conkers. They came to show us their fantastic work all about 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'.

A sunny , Spring day in Forest Schools

In Forest schools last week we looked at inventions, we made mini catapults and also invented our own areas with doorbell access to show when they were open and closed. 

Inventions week - Forest Schools

Week 1

We have dived straight into our topic this week. In English, we researched a famous inventor then used this information to write a biography all about their lives and how their inventions changed the world. In  Design and Technology, we investigated the invention of the telephone before we tested out different cups to see which would make the best telephone.
