This week we were thinking about journeys in different vehicles. 

We used the text Mr Gumpy's Outing to inspire us. We wrote lists of the animals in the story and we used them to help us think of different animals that may go on an outing  too. We used all of our phonics to write brilliant sentences about them. 

In Maths we started learning about numberbonds to 10 and used counters to help us act them out. we will continue to learn them this week and next. 

 

In P.E we started practising for Sorts Day which is scheduled for the beginning of next term. 

 

On Thursday we had a brilliant trip looking at different forms of transport. We enjoyed visiting the train station and we especially loved it when the train pulled in. We did a traffic survey and recorded our findings in a block graph. 

We all had a wonderful week.
