It's Fridayyyyyy! We hope you have a fun-filled weekend planned, but first we'll see you on Zoom at 9:15 to talk about the day ahead...
Here are the activities we would like you to complete today. You can choose what order you do the activities in, but we suggest trying to do the English and Maths in the morning. You can print the work if you want to or you can read from the screen and answer on paper. Please save anything you do to bring into school once we are back so we can have a look at it. You can also ask your grown-ups to e-mail a copy to us each day.
1) English
Today your job is to write the opening to a narrative. Watch the Oak Academy lesson for lots of tips and ideas and feel free to magpie some of Ms Johnson’s ideas if you would like to. Try not to go ahead in the story and keep your work so we can add to it next week.

4) Topic
Topic today is all about drawing jungle animals and I’m sure you’re going to love it! Open up the ‘Jungle animal tutorial’ in the resource section below. It will demonstrate how to draw a variety of animals. See if you can follow the steps to create a jungle animal scene and send me your photos.
5) Forest School
Now the ground is a little less frosty, try your hand at creating a natural photo frame. Open up the ‘Nature’s photo frame’ activity sheet from the resource section below and follow the instructions for this week’s forest school activity.
