Good Morning Hawthorn Class!
Here are the activities we would like you to complete today. You can choose what order you do the activities in, but we suggest trying to do the English and Maths in the morning. You can print the work if you want to or you can read from the screen and answer on paper. Please save anything you do to bring into school once we are back so we can have a look at it. You can also ask your grown-ups to e-mail a copy to us each day.

Lesson 5 - Using bar models to represent known times tables
Don’t forget to start with the intro quiz.
This lesson will relate arrays and bar models as ways of visualising multiplication questions and solving calculations.
Below you will find the worksheet ‘using bar models’.
Complete the spelling activity below to practise your spellings.
4) Topic – Computing
We are still working on coding. For your lesson today we will be following ‘An Hour of Code’. Click the link and follow the instructions for some Star Wars coding fun. When you open up the webpage, click ‘Blocks’ (not Java script). You don’t have to watch the videos in between but they do give some examples of how coding is used in the real world. After each challenge, it will automatically progress you onto the next level. There is no login required. Star Wars | Code.org
We will be doing Crazy Dancing on Zoom this afternoon so practise your moves. After that, open up the ‘Fitness station’ activity from the resource section and carry out each activity for about 30 seconds. Alternatively, you could create your own fitness circuit.
