Ancient Greece – Myths and Monsters

Welcome back to the autumn term. We hope that you all had an enjoyable summer holiday and are refreshed for the new academic year.

This term, in Redwood Class, we will be studying the topic of Ancient Greece. We have worked hard to tie in our curriculum subjects to this fascinating topic. We have attached a topic plan for your information so that you can see what we intend to cover over the course of the term.

The children are all very excited and enthusiastic about our new topic, so please help to keep the enthusiasm going at home as well as at school.

As I am sure you are aware, Year 6 is a very important school year for your children as we do tend to cover more formal learning and prepare the children for their SAT testing – which takes place in the summer term.

We have added some web links with information about SATs to our class sub-pages for your information and will be giving out more information nearer the time.
