Emergency Services Pictures!
The children were Police detectives in the first week discovering that the classroom had turned into a crime scene whereby somebody had broken into the classroom and taken Harold The Hedgehog! This included wearing high vis jackets, a clipboard to report the incident as well as recording everyone's fingerprints! They wrote a police report to state what had happened and later found some CCTV evidence as to who was the culprit!
The children also had a visitor on Tuesday 15th January from a mountain rescuer called Bernie. Bernie told us all about the role of a mountain rescuer and showed the children a stretcher and a tent as well as all the supplies he might pack if he were venturing up a mountain to rescue somebody. The children asked some brilliant, insightful questions and the next day wrote a letter of thanks to Bernie for taking up his time to come and talk to us and give the children such a great experience.
